EGL5 Pools + Schedule

We were literally not allowed to do bo5 in groups, even though we personally think there would be ample time for it, after last time us and EGL want to be extra careful. Depending on how things are going time-wise, there is potential for some bracket games to be bo7 and so on, so we'll see.

People shouldnt moan if its BO3 would rather play BO3 and defo finish the event than have it all fucked up like last time.

i could have said better teams pool a ect but for people with no brain it sounded easier to understand. Most teams in pool a are getting some kind of support to go lan and are expected to do well. Technically the teams in that group all have organisations and are likely do to well. Thats why i called em 'pro', been watching too many rambo vids though :D

obv you and infensus have orgs aswell but infensus are shit and you have nexy so thats why your in pool b <3

Actually think some sort of "Pro" status would help the scene, but won't bother going into it here. Even though it's not what Endless was getting at, just sayin'.

haha yeh, ill link you to an hour long dabate about it. Top 4 teams should be pro, top 8 semi-pro, anyone with an org paying out an Elite would be something to strive for. as emo says in the vid, its premature.

think about black ops and mlg, you think there would be 'pro' xbox exclusive players? nah all the 'pro' players were all on ps3 attending the most competitive event, which was mlg cod black ops on the ps3

egl xbox is more competitive so the better players go there, a pro player on ps3 probably wont be a pro player on xbox so why would ps3 do the pro status thing

I think the groups are fine, just think bo3 is so unfair but cant do anything about it really.

bo3 is not fair but its only for groups so im sure everyone can get past that

Anybody can play in it. Its a LAN event held in blackpool. If you want to enter your team u still can.
