As we move into the latter stages of the tournament, we unfortunately have to say goodbye to some teams as they get knocked out of the tournament. Prior to EGL7, Infensus may have been touted as a potential T3 side but thus far they have struggled to replicate the form which we know they're capable of. Horizon on the other hand have proven to be a handful so far in what's been a particular difficult bracket. Personally I think it's a bit premature for either of these two teams to go out but there can only be one winner in what should be a very tight game. Team Lineups Infensus Starry Reckz Ash Steek eNigma Slaya Addz Pocket UnRealLockdown CTFInfensus 3-2 Horizon Infensus moved into a 1-0 lead midway through the first half on the acclaimed 'harder' side. Moving into the second half, Horizon replied with 2 flags in quick succession. Infensus did manage to tie the game and then add salt to the wound with a flag in the last 20 seconds, a flag which could of been avoided if it wasn't for an individual choke on starry outside mannequins. Starry put in a particular impressive shift on this map and was instrumental in Infensus' win. Arkaden S&DInfensus 4-2 Horizon Infensus entered Arkaden S&D taking a comfortable 2-0 lead, Horizon hit back winning their defence round to take a round back. Infensus and Horizon then won alternate rounds taking the overall score to 3-2. In the final round Infensus changed their tactics with a much more defensive formation, despite going a man down early on they managed to hold out and Ash made the final kill to take the map 4-2. Bootleg CTFInfensus 1-4 Horizon Horizon started Bootleg the stronger of the two teams with a flag cap midway in the half after a mesmerizing run by UnReal. Horizon then capitalised on their lead after shutting down an attacking display by the Infensus team. Slaya particularly had a great first half dropping 17 kills in what was a sefless performance to help his team secure the lead. Slaya moved into the second half from where he left off after pushing the Infensus spawn with his AR and finalising the move with a flag cap in what was a great individual piece of play. Infensus pressed hard towards the end of the game and did take a flag of their own but it was too little too late as Horizon won 4-1 to take their first map of the series. Carbon S&DInfensus 4-2 Horizon Once again Horizon knew that they needed nothing less than a victory if they were to stay in the tournament. Slaya finished of the first round with a two piece to move 1-0 ahead and Addz followed this up by defending the bombsite in a 1v1 situation to move into a 2-0 lead. Infensus then emulated the early form shown by Horizon as they took two rounds themselves to even up the scores. Infensus continued their form in the map after taking the final two rounds with relative ease. ConclusionInfensus 3-1 Horizon Horizon did display some positives signs in the tie and did find themselves in the lead on Maps 1 and 4, perhaps if they were slightly more disciplined then they may of held on. Experience proved to be the difference in these two sides and Infensus will now meet eQ.Havok in the next round of the bracket which should be a thrilling contest as both teams look to book themselves a T6 finish.
