Just doing my first interview with Lewis a well respected player in the community and attending every Lan possible on ps3. Currently playing for RNX and looking to win another ps3 Lan. Lewis on those ez munchies. Nas: Hi Lewis, can you introduce yourself? Lewis: Hey Nas, I’m Lewis and I’m one of the SMG's along with Jacko for the RoughNex PS3 team. Nas: Can you tell us something that the community dont know? Lewis: Not much really at the moment, been away for 4 days so just been looking through the forums and having a catch up. Well i have a full time job as a drainage engineer, work 5 days a week and been doing it for about 17 months now and I’ve had no reason to stop doing the job yet, we do quite alot of work around the country and I’m really enjoying it. Also I’m sure alot the community know because i get defensive on the forums whenever they are mentioned but I’m a huge Arsenal fan and go as many away games as possible. Living in Manchester aswell i also have a season ticket at Bolton Wanderers because it’s local and cheap. Nas: How did competitive gaming start for you? Lewis: Well i started on GB with my old team UnDecided, i played that for about 2/3 years on Cod4, WaW, MW2 and Black Ops. During that period i was also involved in a bit of competitive sniping to on cod4 and mw2. I had lost one GB to spanish players on black ops because they scrubbed the win and i was raging so much so i made an account on euesports and played a few scrims here and there, eventually got into my first proper team on the website which was SkitLite, the roster had me, yourself, SHKZ and Stellson, we attended EGL4 together and played really well only losing to two teams who both came top 4, and in the end we finished 7th. Lewis representing SkitLite at EGL4.Nas: What does your family think of gaming and you attending lan? Lewis: They aren't to bothered about it really, been gaming most of my life all the way since the Nintendo 64, i play my dad on fifa alot of the time to, he just see's it as a hobby for me to do. At first they were a bit uncertain about me going down to London to meet people I’d never seen before and only know over the internet but they are fine with it now, been the Amsterdam twice and Blackpool of course, also maybe going to EGL6 in Sweden and they just see it as somewhere new for me to visit. Nas: You have attended 4 Lans as far as I’m aware. What has been your favourite Lan and least favourite Lan? Lewis: Favourite LAN has to be out of EGL4 or EGL5, both teams exceeded expectations, it's a shame apeX didn't perform in the group stages at EGL4 as i believe we could of come top 5 which would have been a great placement for my first event, but even so like i said earlier we only lost to 2nd and 4th so it's hard to complain. EGL5 i came 3rd with a team i joined 3 weeks before the event and not one person as far as i know put us at top 5, and the fact we did that without even scrimming for the week before the event was incredible. On top of that being only 1 of 4 players to beat RNX in the two events they've attended also made it that extra bit special. Worst event is probably Reflex PS3, seeded 3rd and ended up getting beat to dN who at the time no one rated at all so it hurt deep down, we eventually won a game but then got knocked out by La Elite and finished 9th. It was a disappointing Lan event as a whole and one I’d like to forget about. Again Lewis representing SkitLite and playing with Big SHKZ. Nas: You are the latest member of the RNX crew. How is it going? Lewis: It's going really great at the moment, really glad I’ve had the opportunity to join such a great set of players and people, obviously it wasn't easy leaving Dom but i just didn't think a team with Galvz and Wilz0 would last very long. Aside from that it's a pleasure to be in this team, Dan is great leader and gets stick from so many people in the community for not making kills but his leadership skills makes it 10x easier to play. We are just waiting to find out if Demon can go to EGL and if he can't then we'll be seeing the return of Knibber for EGL7. Nas: Thank you for doing this interview, any Shoutouts? Lewis: Shoutout to RoughNex, Dom, Knibber, Donsie, UnDecided, HH and Infensus. Would like to thank Lewis for doing this interview and wish him GL with his new team RNX at EGL7. Do follow him on twitter https://twitter.com/#!/Lewisw_94
@Nas-Champs1 Re-word or change this "Just doing my first interview with Lewis a well respected player in the community and attending every Lan possible on ps3. Currently playing for RNX and looking to win another ps3 Lan." Then all good. Good interview though. Be good to see more of these.
