For those of you who do not visit the call of duty forums or decerto there has recently been some very interesting news regarding LAN for PS3. The latest patch is including a fix which will add 'Competition mode' to system link. This will signal the end to all problems with internet at future PS3 LANs which will be a major help in terms of scheduling and making sure that LAN is the even playing field it is meant to be. The patch is due to be released on June 14th - which means that the new LAN mode will be seen in use at the next PS3 event EGL7. EGL have confirmed they won't be supplying mixamps at any future events (it may change but I doubt it)
PS3 black ops had in game anyway, but because xbox didnt they still gave us mix amps. No doubt mw3 will have in game also.
Black Ops LAN lobbies were good? Why you implying they were shit and saying this will be "good though" ? I'm probably reading it wrong but it makes no sense what you said. OT however - will probably be built-in classes and stuff.
Yeah I totally implyed that wrong haha, I meant to say from the public comepetion lobby Black Ops had, can see it being quite similar to that. only with obvious customization

I doubt they would alter the offline game mode settings without altering the online lobbies also. Would be very surprised if they made an SnD 1.5 min option. Thank god they are putting it on Xbox as well. Better late than never
