I just dont want to play mw3 on ps3 its bores me Im going to play counter strike when It comes out and hopefully go to lan for thats if we get enough teams but if we dont I will not support mw3 for ps3

@SHKZ I think it's naive to try and claim you've achieved as much as you can on PS3. The results of you and your team mates haven't been consistently at the top on PS3, you had one great event and that event was one which seen 3 of the top seeded teams place 9-12th. You'd be foolish to think that your win was all down to teamwork and individual skill, in reality the main catalyst was the under performance of other teams and players. I'm not taking anything away from your victory here but look at the teams RNX, TEC, Infensus etc.. lost to and then try and tell me they were on form for the event. Infested placed second and were formed only a couple of days before the event with inexperienced players on PS3. Does that mean they're good enough to take 360 by storm? No, because they're realists. When you're consistently at the top then maybe you should re-address things.

Anyway despite maybe coming across as a little cheeky there, whatever you do I will still support you guys. I'll be following on xbox and hoping you do well at events. I can't question your support and passion for the PS3 scene and it's been nice having you around here.

The biggest problem is just Modern Warfare 3 as a whole, so many people despise the game and got fed up with it because of the lack of variance in game modes and maps. Considering all it's flaws, we haven't done too badly as a community. Personally I wish my PS3 wasn't broken as I'd love to make a team myself to whore it out and see how we can do. Lastly I'm not bothered what you do for EGL8, I just hope you and your team mates will be back on here for Black Ops 2. I'm no world beater personally but there are so many people on EUeS that have hated MW3 with a passion and put so little time into the game, I know a large bulk of them will be giving BO2 their all and I want to play against as many of the new players as possible and see how I pan out.

as hatchet said teams really under-performed at EGL and especially RNX who didnt put anytime in at all before the event and if they did im sure the end results wouldve been alot different , not taking anything away from your team as you did win the event but it was purely down to whoring it.

you wouldnt place t12 on xbox either

BO2 will be a new game and I'm sure be different i.e. people won't be as good.

Just hope CS comes out good as would rather play that at lan with 4teams than 18team MW3.

They may have been in 'another league' but that wasn't through beating the top teams at their best. Look at the placements of the top 6:

1st seed placed 7/8
2nd seed placed 3rd
3rd seed = vital
4th seed placed 7/8
5th seed placed 4th
6th seed place 9-12

When your top 6 is made up of a 7th, 8th and 9th seed. And your bottom 6 consists of 1st, 4th and 6th seed. That is all the proof you need that it was a tournament made up of teams under performing.
Yeh you can only beat what's put in front of you, so fair enough well done vital, congratulations. All this stuff about forming a few weeks before and clicking so well is a big exaggeration in my eyes though. Infested formed even later and entered the tournament with a lower seed and a harder bracket, they came through and got to the final and were one map off taking it to the final map. They didn't come out thinking they were world beaters.


Like I said Vital can do what they want and good luck to them, I like the lads and want to see them do well. But lets be honest, they haven't took the PS3 scene by storm, they haven't been dominating they game online and offline for months. They haven't consistently performed at LAN events as individuals and always been at the top. At this present time there may be a lack of competition but that's because of teams splitting up as per usual, but they won't walk the next event. Not with Dan probably making a team and Skitlite still around.

If you want to talk about there being no competition and dominating then turn up to an event and win it when all the top teams are performing. Not scraping through every game dropping a map to every team bar one and winning two games on the final map. RNX did dominate PS3 and they didn't even make these stupid claims, and even if they did, they'd still struggle on xbox and they are/were a better team on MW3.

As Hatchet said, when you're consistently at the top then you can start to make those claims, not after you've whored for one LAN and several other teams were under prepared/didn't perform.

Well welcome to the PS3 premier league. Yours and Dodges placements on MW3 (prior to EGL7) probably merit a League 2 PS3 side but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and let you come up to the premier league of PS3, congrats.

fair enough, but i like to think of it as all the ps3 teams have stepped it up alot and thats why the seeds messed up tbh, especially with RNX u had ppl scrimming for ages ( us included ) all stepping it up whilst they didnt scrim alot. would have been intresting if they stuck and scrimmed alot to see what the reason was

Nah you're not, if you wanna go 360 then go 360 and test yourselves. I'm not playing MW3 on ps3 right now so I can't judge how bad it is.

I'm just saying that yous aren't like as dominant as you think. After iseries I think a few more teams will start to step up their game and get into swing of things. Fariko, Cookies team (if one), Dans team, Aesthetics, Skitlite, Starrys team, Ajws team etc..

Need a bloody online league or something though as there is nothing for online @Vanity @ElliotVS @The__Malteser

What a find funny is your brain hasn't told you to scrim on xbox for the time being. Lan finished on the sunday and by monday evening or maybe tuesday you lot were asking for scrims.

The only problem with online leagues is that they generate interest for the first round of games then nobody gives a shit after that. The deadlines are then not followed and that fucks up the whole groups it has been tried many times before and always goes inactive within a week or two.

I will 100% do one, if I have a guarantee that more than 5 people will sign up(if its some tournament) and if its a league, people play at least 50% of their games.

Maybe make an interest thread? It could even be an EGL warm up league and limit it to teams looking to attend EGL and split them into divisions. I don't know.

As you can see, we got one new French member, so we reach out more to the Frenhies. Hopefully more of them come to EGL (he says there will be 3 French teams at EGL 8, one of them already booked). I am looking to take on 2 more people, one for CoD & CS:GO (one person for that) and one for UC3.

-I'm already thinking to do some launch tournament for CS:GO, even if its pick up related. (I may speak to the French CS:GO admin for this too)
-We will do pre-EGL cup 100% (was told not to do it last event because it was too close to the event and would be a waste of time)

I was going to do something like 'tell me what you want and I will do' type of thread, but it will end up like all my other Vanity threads, one or 2 replies. I'm always open to suggestions. Give me any ideas and I'm more than willing to do it.
